Welcome!
It is nice to meet you.
Hi, I’m Taryn (she/her), and welcome to Nurtured Therapy, LLC.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker and the founder of Nurtured Therapy, LLC. My work is rooted in a deep passion for listening, supporting, repairing, and helping others heal. I believe in the power of connection, the strength of resilience, and the importance of creating a safe and collaborative space for growth.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota Duluth, followed by a master’s degree in clinical social work through St. Catherine University and the University of St. Thomas. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, families, and adults across various settings, including in-home, community-based, and intensive outpatient care.
I’m a certified DBT therapist with extensive experience providing evidence-based care. In previous roles, I developed a DBT program for early adolescents, facilitated state-certified DBT groups, and provided clinical supervision to other providers. I’m especially drawn to helping clients navigate complex emotions, relationships, and life transitions with honesty and compassion.
When I’m not working, I’m most often with my family. I grew up in Minnesota and have made a home here with my partner, my childhood sweetheart, and our energetic toddler. I love soaking up the sunshine, being near the water, and spending time outside hiking, biking, and gardening. When indoors, I find joy in organizing, cooking, and putting together low-cost activities for my child. I value continuous learning, meaningful conversation, and sharing helpful tools and perspectives with others.
If you’re exploring therapy, I’m glad you’ve found your way here. Feel free to reach out to learn more or see if we might be a good fit.
