Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
Life can feel overwhelming when you’re navigating anxiety, low energy, relationship or family stress, burnout, or a lot of change. You may be working on setting boundaries, managing worry, improving communication, or feeling more grounded in daily life.
Therapy can give you space to make sense of what feels difficult and find a clearer way forward.
Hi, I’m Taryn Ignaszewski, MSW, LICSW. I am a licensed clinical social worker in Plymouth, Minnesota. My style is warm and practical. I believe therapy works best when you feel understood and actively involved in the process.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. We will focus on what matters most to you and choose strategies that fit your goals. My approach incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, solution-focused and strengths-based therapy, exposure-based approaches, and trauma-informed care.
Minnesota has always been home for me. I’m a mom and a partner to my supportive husband. I feel most grounded outdoors and especially love being near the water and in the sunshine in a very Minnesotan “we earned this” kind of way. I love planning and organizing. Cleaning is also one of the ways I reset. I’m equally drawn to time outside and a freshly organized drawer. I usually have a plan and a backup plan while still making room for the slower and messier moments of family life.
I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you.
